About
Alokito runs evening classes in the neighbourhoods its students already live in — a rented room, a volunteer teacher, and the same twenty children four evenings a week.
We do not build schools. We keep children who are already enrolled from dropping out in the two years either side of an exam, which is when almost all of them go.

Evening classes
Four evenings a week, Classes 6 to 10, in twenty-three rented rooms across Mirpur and Pallabi.
School kits
Books, a uniform and a year of exam fees for families who would otherwise take a child out.
Exam coaching
Intensive terms before the SSC, taught by teachers who marked it.
