Interior architecture, Dhaka · Dhanmondi, Dhaka
We do interiors for apartments and small offices in Dhaka. Five people, about twenty projects a year, and every drawing produced in this office rather than bought in.
Most of our work is refits rather than new build, which means working around a column you cannot move and a kitchen wall that turns out to be structural. That is the job, and it is why we survey before we draw.
Survey, layout, joinery, lighting, finishes and the site supervision that makes the drawings true.
Wardrobes, kitchens and built-ins drawn to the millimetre for your own carpenter to build.
A proper lighting layout with circuits and switching. The cheapest thing that changes a room most.
Two hours in your flat and a written plan afterwards. For people who want to do it themselves.
They moved one wall and the flat gained a room. Three other designers had told us to knock through the kitchen.
