Four things that happen every single time.
- Book
Telephone the chamber. You are given a consultant's name and a twenty-minute slot, not a queue number.
- Bring
Any previous scans, reports and the dates of your last two periods. Old films save you repeating a scan.
- Be told
What is happening, what the options are and what each one costs, before you are asked to decide anything.
- Go home with it
Reports, images and a written plan are handed over the same visit. Follow-up is with the same consultant.
