A first appointment here runs twenty-five minutes. Most of what women bring me has been carried for months before they book, and five minutes is only long enough to hear the last week of it.
You leave with the plan written down — what we are treating, what we are watching, what the next test is for, and what would make you call me before the next visit.

Periods that are heavy, painful or absent, PCOS, fibroids, infections, and the symptoms nobody wants to describe twice.
Antenatal care from the first visit to delivery, with the same doctor each time rather than whoever is on that day.
First investigations for both partners, explained plainly, and an honest answer about what the numbers actually mean.
Symptom management and bone and heart health, for a stage of life that is usually handled by being told to put up with it.
