Graphic designer — Dhaka, Bangladesh

Arif Mahmud

A logo is not a brand. The brand is what people remember when the logo is not in front of them.

I design brand identities, packaging and print work for companies in Bangladesh and abroad. Nine years, one small studio.

About
Clients usually ask me for a logo. What they actually need is a set of decisions: what the brand sounds like, what it never says, which colours belong to it. The logo is the last and easiest part.

I take on four or five projects a year so each one gets my full attention. The first two weeks are questions, not sketches.
