Editorial, bridal and campaign work out of a studio in Banani.
Roopkotha is four people in one room in Banani. We do editorial, bridal and campaign work, and we take about a hundred bookings a year rather than three hundred.
The studio is built around skin. Everything else — colour, hair, the clothes — sits on top of that, and if the first part is wrong none of the rest saves it.

Bridal
The full day, from the first light to the last guest. Trial included, and we stay to fix things.

Editorial
For magazines and labels. We work from the mood board and argue with it where it needs arguing with.

Campaign
Product and fashion campaigns, on location or in the studio, with the retouch brief agreed before the shoot.

Teaching
Small courses for artists starting out. Six people at a time, four Saturdays.
Fourteen hours, a power cut and an outdoor shoot, and the face held. I have never had that before.
