Tasnim Hoque

A story is not finished when it is interesting. It is finished when it is checked.

I am a journalist in Dhaka. I report on business, labour and public money, and I write longer investigative pieces.

About

The hard part of this work is almost never finding something interesting. It is proving it well enough that it survives being challenged. Most of my time goes on the second part.

I take commissions from editors I have not worked with before, and I will say upfront what a piece needs: time, access and a lawyer's read.
